Tell us about your professional background.

After completing my LLB and LPC, I started my legal career at an immigration practice before working at a magic circle firm. I then joined DavidsonMorris earlier this year as part of its corporate immigration team as I wanted to focus my specialism and gain more experience working with business clients alongside my experience in advising on personal immigration routes.

Describe a typical day for you.

I assist senior fee earners in the corporate immigration team and help them provide a first-class service to all our business clients. This involves working on sponsor licences and visa applications. Most of my time is spent liaising with clients, completing applications and supporting with other tasks required to compile documents and submit forms to the Home Office on time.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I really enjoy the level of interaction I have with clients. Every client has different needs, and this means that every day brings new challenges! Immigration law can also be very complex, requiring consideration of multiple factors to determine whether an application will be successful. I really enjoy the challenging nature of my work.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work I really enjoy cycling and trying out new vegan recipes.

DavidsonMorris is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
